We’re looking for a qualified and motivated Town Planner to join our team. Based in Manchester, the candidate will be keen to learn and will use their initiative to support the professional planning team, undertaking basic research and the submission/monitoring of applications for new development and discharge of conditions.

 

You will have completed a fully accredited RTPI qualification and will have achieved RTPI membership as a Chartered Town Planner (or be in the final stages of doing so). Naturally, you’ll have up-to-date knowledge of current planning law, policy and practice as well as a familiarity of emerging planning issues.

 

Good written and communication skills are essential and practical work experience in a private sector planning environment will be an advantage. We will expect a strong work focus, accuracy and an ability to meet deadlines.
